Dafabet is once more the title sponsor of World Pool Masters. Dafabet is a partner of a variety of well-known sports brands like Celtic FC, Norwich City FC, Warwickshire County Cricket Team, Warwickshire County Cricket Team, and Celtic FC. Dafabet is also a sponsor of the British Fast5 Netball All-Stars Championship. It was also the title sponsor of World Pool Masters 2017 & 2019.
Gibraltar hosts the 2020 World Pool Masters. 24 of top pool players will compete for $100,000. Matchroom Pool Club subscribers get tickets on Monday December 9, and the general public on Tuesday December 10. David Alcaide last year was the champion and will be defending his title against a top-notch field of players.
Dafabet Masters of World Pool
Dafabet has extended the title sponsorship deal for World Pool Masters. The tournament will be held from 22 to 25 Mai 2019 in Gibraltar. The title sponsor for the World Pool Masters 2017-2018 was Dafabet. In addition, Dafabet has other sporting sponsorship deals. The company has previously partnered with La Liga football tournament, as well as the Sussex cricket side Durham.

Dafabet World Pool Masters consists of an international nine-ball pool contest. It is the most prestigious event of its kind and has raised the amount of prize money for each year's winner. The prize money for this year's event was $100,000. David Alcaide from Spain won the tournament. Alcaide beat Alexander Kazakis from Greece in the final by doubling the length of his final ball. In the previous year's event, Niels Feijen reached the final by defeating Shane Van Boening. In the first round, David Alcaide was also defeated by the Dutchman.
Joshua Filler
Joshua Filler, a Bonen-based German pool player, is making waves within the professional pool world. Filler, 21, has won the China Open title and the European Pool Championships 10-ball. He is the youngest person ever to win these two competitions. He won the China Open and is also the youngest winner of the European Pool Championships.
Filler started the sport at age seven. He was already competing in the national level. At age twenty, he made his Mosconi Cup debut and represented Europe at the event. He went on to win both the China Open 9 ball tournament and the European Pool Championship. He defeated Italian Carlo Biado in his final to win his second world championship. In addition to winning the World Pool Masters, he also won the Mosconi Cup, the World Cup of Pool, and the US Open Pool Championship.
Lo Ho-sum
Lo Ho-sum is the first Hong Kong pool players to reach the World Pool Masters final. Despite his recent success in the sport, he remains relatively unknown outside of his homeland. Lo was a wild-card participant in the Gibraltar tournament and won a series of matches to reach final. In the quarterfinals, he defeated Shane Van Boening but fell to Joshua Filler. They were tied at six before Lo's heroics ended the match.

The World Pool Masters is a nine-ball competition held every year to determine the world's best pool players. The first event was held in Europe. It has now been expanded to include players coming from all parts of the globe. Lo has a solid professional record and has maintained a high rank throughout his career.
Sanchez Ruiz
Francisco Sanchez Ruiz is the winner of the 2022 US Open Pool Championship. His victory over Max Lechner was 13-10. This victory places him at number one in the Live Nineball World Rankings. It also earns him $50,000 for the first prize. Sanchez Ruiz also became the first Spanish player to win the pool's oldest major. Sanchez Ruiz was also awarded the $100,000 milestone, surpassing Shane Van Boening.
Sanchez Ruiz faced many challenges against Filler. He was able to overcome his initial nervousness and win after making two consecutive racks. Sanchez Ruiz won with a two-rack buffer after Filler came back to tie the score at three points.
