When you're playing snooker, you probably have heard the term'maximum break'. The maximum break is the highest in one frame. A player could reach maximum break by potting all of the 15 reds as well as all of the 15 blacks for 120 point. Another way to break the maximum is to pot all six colours in a single frame for 27 points.
Stephen Hendry's number 147
After breaking the record number 147, seven-time World Snooker champion was in the news. The break came in the seventh frame of his first-round match against Stuart Bingham in Sheffield. The world number one is currently defending his title and is on track for another major prize. Hendry does not believe the Crucible's extra incentive to break 147 is worth the risk.
